Discovery is a digital measurement provider from Aachen, Germany. The firm has now announced a €15M funding round to fuel its growth. Furthermore, the firm announced that the Berlin-based firm Comgy joins the firm as investor and strategic partner. Amongst the investors is also the Kalodion.
Discovergy: Transparency for energy consumption and generationDiscovery is a „full-service provider of smart metering solutions for private and commercial customers in Germany“. Besides the installation of smart meters, the firm helps its customers with analyses and software for advanced energy reporting. Now, the firm wants to launch a „360-degree-platform“, that ranges from measurement technology to the offering of Software-as-a-Service solutions.
Kalodion: Berlin Family Office joins investment roundAmongst the investors is the Berlin-based family office Kalodion. Kalodion is also an active startup investor. One of Kalodion’s executives, David Zimmer, will also join Discovergy as board member.
