German Tischendorf single family office acquires rest of Rea

Russian investor SCP recently announced the sale of the remains of German supermarket chain Real to the and former Real managers.Real: German retailer changes ownerEssen-based supermarket chain Real GmbH is one of Germany’s most important food and consumer good retailers. The firm operates around 270 stores in Germany. In 2020, the former owner Metro sold real to Russian investor SCP. In the following, SCP sold many markets to competitors like Edeka, Kaufland and Globus, whereas the real estate assets were passed to investment firm X+Bricks. Now, the remains of Real are sold to the single family office of the Tischendorf family. The transaction includes 60 stores which employ more than 5000 people.
